We are witnessing many MLAs and MPs are leaving the TDP party and joining the Opposition party YSRCP. Now the masterminds and so-called analysts of the Yellow camp are claiming a new reason for all these defections.According to these observers of TDP, defected leaders like Avanthi Srinivas and other MPs poses lands and properties in and around Hyderabad. So Jagan’s good friend and CBN’s rival KCR who is having a greater hold on this city is indirectly troubling and blackmailing these leaders to join YSRCP.

Not willing to lose their properties, these leaders have left with no choice than bending down their heads to the Opposition leader. They also claim that the YSRCP leaders with the help of TRS Chief are operating these defections from the Hyderabad as its Centre. Also, there are speculations that more leaders who have properties in Telangana will be queued to YSRCP in the upcoming days.For now, no one knows the amount of truth in these speculations and the left leaders have now officially turned against the TDP National head CBN apparently. Now the million dollars question is that will these defections be an advantage to YSRCP or not.

The Telangana Chief Minister KCR has fixed schedules to conduct the Panchayat Raj and Zilla Parishad elections as per the instructions of the Election Commision. A look at the new developments in the T-Government gives a brief clarity on all the elections.KCR has announced that the T-State is currently concentrating on the Lok Sabha elections which will be held in the month of April. Immediately after these, the ZPTC elections will be organized with the new Panchayat Raj introduced by the ruling party to ensure the development of villages and mandals.

Soon the TRS Chief is willing to draft a new Municipal Raj by doing an extensive research on all the model towns and cities across the India and will be announced soon. Only after the Panchayat Raj elections, the TRS Government will look into the MPTC polls. Meanwhile, the CM is busy selecting the MLC candidates to fill in the vacant Council members from the T-State.There are speculations that KCR is taking these MLC elections and Panchayat Raj elections quite seriously to repeat the magic of early polls. At the same time, the Opposition party Congress is eyeing to conquer as many ZPTC and MPTC seats as possible to decrease the humiliation of snap polls.

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa broke the ice regarding the jumping MLAs and leaders from TDP to YSRCP. His take on these leaders is quite interesting.Rajappa stated that those leaders who left the party are blackmailing the Chief for the last six months so their absence matters nothing to the Yellow camp. Not stopping there, this first time Home Minister claimed that the core team has been warning these leaders to change their behaviour and show some improvement but they failed to do so.

Those leaders have opted for the Opposition only because the National Chief CBN rejected tickets for them based on their performance in the happened term. According to Rajappa, these leaders will certainly fail to get deposits under the YSRCP tickets.Another TDP Minister Narayana went further and declared that defected leaders like Avanthi Srinivas and others got negative results in the secret surveys and to escape it, they left the party. All these big leaders of TDP are not at all worried about the jumped leaders for now as they believe that the voters are on the ruling party’s side for now.

Taking a queue from his rival KCR, CBN is regularizing these offers to the farmers, women, senior citizens and unemployed youth just before the commencement of election code.

Day by day, more and more leaders from the TDP is joining the Opposition party YSRCP. Despite being happy, well-wishers of YS Jagan are indicating a possible threat to this phenomenon.

Back then in 2009, when PRP was in full swing, the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu cleverly sent his close aides and followers to join in the Chiranjeevi’s Political party. They later became close to the PRP Chief and got all their strategies then leaked everything to CBN and finally the PRP bit dust. This seems to be repeating with the YSRCP as loyalists of CBN are now leaving TDP for joining YSRCP. Jagan and his batch are cheering up to see leaders leaving the TDP but at the same time, they need to know that this might be a covert strike prepared by the Political mastermind Chandrababu Naidu who outshined so-called top most Politicians in his era. It is high time for Jagan to acknowledge this fact and not to disclose his secret strategies to these new joinings or else he might pay the price post the elections.

On contrary, some of the YSRCP leaders who failed to get a ticket from Jagan is joining TDP with a concrete promise to field in as MLAs or MPs in the upcoming elections. One has to wait and see if all these strategies yield results.

After all these days, the Telangana Chief Minister KCR who got only 2 Cabinet Ministers including himself has expanded the Ministries upto 12 members. New Ministers and their portfolios are as follows:

Singireddy Niranjan Reddy: Finance

Etela Rajender: Welfare

Koppula Eshwar: Education

Errabelli Dayakar Rao: Agriculture

Talasani Srinivas Yadav: Public Distribution System

Vemula Prashanth Reddy: Industries

Indrakaran Reddy: Medicine and Health

As we can see, KCR made it sure that he took the leaders from all the old districts of Telangana except Khammam. He however shown empty hand to MLCs as he took some newcomers like Singireddy, Etela, Malla Reddy etc. Telangana can have a maximum cabinet of 18 Ministers so the TRS Chief will complete the expansion by taking the remaining 6 members once the Lok Sabha elections are done. Sources say that the missed Ministries like Women and Backward classes welfare will be taken up in the second expansion. Leaders like KTR, Harish Rao and others are likely to be inducted in the upcoming expansion.
